From 2006 to 2008 he was assistant coach at the University Of San Francisco and Director Of Baseball Operations prior to that. In 2005, he received a Master of Arts degree in Sports Management.
Most classes are about an hour long. Kids are taught precise techniques and then they play matches in order to reinforce them. The best thing about the sport is that it requires technical skills rather than physical skills. In addition, there is no contact in the way that there is in football. As a result, most people can try their hand at it. It's also an excellent way of giving people experience in team games.
Kids as young as three years old can be signed up. Their lessons are usually early in the day and they are taught the fundamentals of the sport. This can include swinging the bat, running to base and ball throwing. A stress is placed on team play, sportsmanship and the importance of good manners.
